The meeting agenda, minutes of last year’s meeting, and details of the executive roles are on our Media and Uploads page.

Lyft and Toyota Mirai Presentation

The SAE Alberta Section teamed up with the SAE British Columbia on a technical presentation on May 19, 2021. Lyft Inc., Toyota Canada Inc., and the Hydrogen Technology and Energy Corporation gave a seminar on their initiative to provide ridesharing using a fleet of Toyota Mirai(s): hydrogen-powered zero-emission vehicles.

The presentation focused on the viability of using hydrogen-powered zero-emission vehicles from the perspectives of an industry-leading ridesharing company, the vehicle manufacturer, and the supplier for hydrogen-related infrastructure.

The presentation took place over Zoom and there was no recording. Please note that the purpose of the event was to further individual technical knowledge and discussion only: this was not a forum for larger issues.
